Ingredients
Frozen Yogurt Base
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (2% or full-fat preferred)
- 1 ½ cups frozen blueberries
- 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or agave (optional)
Instructions
- Blend Ingredients: Combine the Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries, and sweetener (if using) in a food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy, ensuring all the blueberries are fully incorporated.
- Serve Immediately or Freeze: You can enjoy the mixture right away as a soft-serve treat. For a scoopable texture, transfer it to a loaf pan and freeze for about an hour.
- Thaw Before Serving: Remove from the freezer and allow to thaw for a few minutes before scooping to achieve the perfect consistency.
Notes
- Use Greek yogurt with 2% or full-fat for a creamier texture, but non-fat can be used for a lighter version.
- The sweetener is optional depending on your preference or the sweetness of your blueberries.
- For added flavor, consider stirring in a teaspoon of vanilla extract before blending.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a week.
