Ingredients
Chicken Patties
- 1 pound ground chicken
- ½ small onion, grated
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Toppings
- 4 slices cheddar cheese or your favorite cheese
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 360ºF (182ºC) to ensure it is hot and ready for cooking the chicken patties evenly.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, grated onion, chopped parsley, salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated to create a flavorful mixture.
- Form Patties: Divide the chicken mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties. If the mixture is sticky, lightly spray your hands with non-stick spray to make forming easier and prevent sticking.
- Cook Patties: Place the patties in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they are spaced apart. Cook them at 360ºF for 9 minutes, allowing the patties to cook through and develop a slightly crispy exterior.
- Add Cheese: After 9 minutes, place a slice of cheddar or your preferred cheese on each patty. Continue cooking for an additional 1 minute in the air fryer to melt the cheese perfectly.
- Serve: Carefully remove the chicken burgers from the air fryer and place each patty on a hamburger bun. Add your favorite toppings and condiments, then serve immediately while hot.
