Ingredients
Potatoes
- 500 g (1 lb) Potatoes
Seasonings and Oil
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Onion granules
- ½ teaspoon Parsley
- ½ teaspoon Rosemary or Thyme
- ¼ teaspoon Black pepper or to taste
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare Potatoes: Peel the potatoes, wash them thoroughly, and pat dry with paper towels. If you prefer to keep the skins on, wash them well to remove dirt and dry completely.
- Slice Potatoes: Cut the potatoes into even slices to ensure uniform cooking.
- Season Potatoes: Place the potato slices in a bowl and add paprika, parsley, rosemary or thyme, onion granules, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and olive oil. Mix well to coat all slices evenly with the seasoning and oil.
- Preheat Air Fryer and Arrange Potatoes: Pour the seasoned potato slices into the air fryer basket, spreading them out in an even layer to allow for optimal air circulation and crispiness.
- Air Fry: Cook the potato slices at 380°F (180°C) for 8 minutes. Remove the basket and shake it gently to toss the potatoes for even cooking. Return to the air fryer and cook for another 8 minutes or until the potatoes are tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.
- Serve: Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve immediately as a delicious side dish with your choice of main courses or enjoy on their own.
Notes
- For a crispier texture, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
- You can substitute rosemary with thyme depending on your flavor preference.
- If you prefer, leave the potato skins on for added nutrients and texture.
- Adjust seasoning quantities to taste, especially salt and pepper.
- Use a mandoline slicer for consistent potato slices and quicker preparation.
