Delicious and nutritious Apple Pie Overnight Oats are a perfect make-ahead breakfast combining old fashioned oats, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, chopped apples, pecans, cinnamon, pure maple syrup, and milk. This easy no-cook recipe requires just 10 minutes of prep time and delivers a wholesome, apple pie-inspired start to your day.

  • Total Time: 8 hours 10 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

Base

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 2 cups milk

Fruit and Nuts

  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Flavorings

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Layer Ingredients: Place 1/3 cup of oats into each of 6 half-pint jars. Divide the Greek yogurt evenly between the jars. Top each jar with 2 teaspoons of chia seeds, 1/3 cup chopped apples, 2 teaspoons chopped pecans, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.
  2. Add Sweetener and Milk: Pour 2 teaspoons of pure maple syrup into each jar, then top each with 1/3 cup of milk.
  3. Mix and Refrigerate: Stir ingredients in each jar until well combined. Seal jars with lids and refrigerate overnight (at least 8 hours) to allow oats and chia seeds to soak and flavors to meld.
  4. Serve: When ready to eat, optionally top with additional chopped apples for extra freshness before serving.

Notes

  • Use half-pint mason jars or other small containers with lids for convenient portioning and storage.
  • For creamier oats, you can substitute milk with almond milk or other plant-based milk alternatives.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup according to your taste preference.
  • Chia seeds help thicken the oats and add extra fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.
  • This recipe can be made vegan by using plant-based yogurt and milk.
