Ingredients
Brisket Sliders Ingredients
- 2 cups Brisket, finely chopped
- 12 Hawaiian Rolls
- 8 ounces Swiss Cheese slices
Sauce Ingredients
- 16 ounces K C Masterpiece Honey and Molasses BBQ Sauce
- 1 cup Apricot Preserves
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- Dash of Garlic Powder
Topping Ingredients
- ¼ cup Melted Butter
- Everything Bagel Seasoning, for sprinkling
- Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Brisket: Using leftover brisket or deli brisket, finely chop it until you measure approximately 2 cups of chopped brisket.
- Make the BBQ Sauce: In a medium saucepan, combine the 16 ounces of K C Masterpiece Honey and Molasses BBQ Sauce, 1 cup apricot preserves, ¼ cup brown sugar, and a dash of garlic powder. Stir well to combine and heat over medium heat until the sauce bubbles. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Rolls: Take the 12 Hawaiian rolls out of the packaging. Using a large, sharp knife, carefully slice the rolls in half lengthwise. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a 9×13 baking dish.
- Assemble the Sliders: Evenly distribute the chopped brisket over the bottom halves of the rolls. Spoon the prepared BBQ sauce mixture over the brisket. Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the sauced brisket.
- Add the Top Rolls and Toppings: Position the tops of the rolls onto the sliders. Brush the tops generously with ¼ cup melted butter and then sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a fresh flavor and attractive presentation.
- Bake the Sliders: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the sliders are heated through.
- Optional Toasting: For a toasty top, remove the foil and bake the sliders for an additional 1 minute, watching carefully to prevent burning.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve the sliders hot with the remaining BBQ sauce on the side, alongside your favorite chips, pickles, or relishes for a complete snack or meal.
Notes
- Use leftover brisket or pre-sliced deli brisket for convenience.
- Adjust the amount of BBQ sauce to taste; you can add more for a saucier slider.
- Everything bagel seasoning adds a nice crunch and flavor, but you can substitute with sesame seeds and poppy seeds.
- If you don’t have apricot preserves, peach or orange marmalade can be used as an alternative.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or hot sauce to the BBQ sauce mixture.
