Ingredients
Salad Mixture
- 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken (grilled, fried, or rotisserie)
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup homemade croutons
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Wraps
- 4 flour tortillas or wraps, 10-inch size
Instructions
- Prepare the Salad Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Use tongs to toss everything thoroughly. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to your taste. Adjust the amount of dressing as preferred, and set aside.
- Warm the Tortillas: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Warm each flour tortilla for about 15 to 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Alternatively, microwave them between paper towels for 15 to 30 seconds. Keep the warmed tortillas covered with a kitchen towel to retain warmth and softness.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay each warm tortilla on a clean surface. Divide the Caesar salad mixture evenly in the center of each tortilla. Fold in the opposite sides of the tortilla toward the middle, then roll it up tightly like a burrito. Secure with a toothpick if needed to hold the wrap closed.
- Serve: Cut each wrap in half if desired, or serve whole. Enjoy these Chicken Caesar Wraps fresh for a simple and satisfying meal.
Notes
- You can use grilled, fried, or rotisserie chicken depending on your preference or what you have available.
- For added texture, consider adding sliced cherry tomatoes or crispy bacon.
- Homemade croutons elevate the crunch but store-bought ones work well too.
- If you prefer a lighter wrap, use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas.
- To make this wrap gluten-free, substitute the flour tortillas with gluten-free wraps.
