Ingredients
Sauce Ingredients
- ½ cup salted butter
- ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese (plus more for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 4 cloves garlic, pressed
Additional Ingredients
- Pre-cooked chicken wings (quantity as desired, approximately 1 to 1.5 pounds for 6 servings)
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted salted butter, grated parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley, and pressed garlic until well combined and smooth.
- Toss wings with sauce: Add the pre-cooked chicken wings to the bowl with the sauce and toss thoroughly to evenly coat each wing.
- Bake the wings: Place the coated wings on a baking sheet and position on the top rack in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C). Bake for 10-15 minutes until the wings are hot and the sauce is slightly caramelized on the surface.
- Brush and garnish: Remove the wings from the oven, brush them with additional sauce from the bowl to enhance flavor and moisture, and garnish with extra grated parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Using pre-cooked wings speeds up preparation, but fresh wings can be cooked and tossed with sauce if preferred.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Freshly grated parmesan cheese yields better texture and flavor compared to pre-grated cheese.
- Ensure wings are spread out on the baking sheet for even crisping during baking.
- This sauce can be doubled or tripled to accommodate larger batches of wings.
