This Healthier Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing is a high-protein, creamy, and flavorful alternative to traditional ranch dressings. Made with simple ingredients like Greek yogurt, olive oil, and herbs, it’s easy to prepare in just 5 minutes using a blender or food processor. Perfect as a salad dressing or dip, it offers a nutritious and lighter option without sacrificing taste.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: Approximately 3/4 cup

Ingredients

Greek Yogurt Dressing

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (5% fat recommended)
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried chives (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp water, to thin

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients: Place all the ingredients — Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice or vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, dried chives (if using), parsley, dill, salt, black pepper, and water — into a high-speed blender or food processor.
  2. Blend: Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy, ensuring all spices are well incorporated and the dressing has a uniform texture.
  3. Transfer and Serve: Pour the blended ranch dressing into a jar or container. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator. Enjoy as a salad dressing or dip.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a creamier texture and richer flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of water to achieve your preferred dressing consistency.
  • Dried herbs can be substituted with fresh, but reduce quantities by about half to avoid overpowering flavors.
  • Store the dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Feel free to customize the herbs and seasoning to suit your taste.
