Ingredients
Ingredients
- 3-4 fresh mandarins
- 1½ cups water
- Sugar, optional, to taste
- Ice cubes, optional
Instructions
- Peel Mandarins: Peel your mandarins carefully, removing as much of the white pith as possible. Collect the peeled segments in a bowl.
- Prepare Blender: Place all the peeled mandarins into the blender jar. Add 1½ cups of water to help with blending. If you prefer a sweeter juice, add sugar to taste at this point.
- Blend: Blend the mixture for 1-2 minutes until the mandarins are completely broken down into a smooth consistency.
- Strain Juice: Place a fine-mesh sieve over a bowl and pour the blended mixture through it. Use a spoon to press and extract as much juice as possible, leaving the pulp behind.
- Serve: Pour the strained mandarin juice into a glass. Add ice cubes or crushed ice if desired for a cold refreshing drink. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Removing the white pith is important to reduce bitterness in the juice.
- You can adjust water quantity to make the juice thicker or more diluted depending on preference.
- The sugar is optional since mandarins are naturally sweet; add only if desired.
- Straining is optional if you prefer a pulpy texture.
- Fresh juice is best consumed immediately for maximum flavor and nutrition.
