This Sweet and Refreshing Peach Lemonade is a perfect summer beverage, combining fresh peaches and zesty homemade lemonade with a hint of mint. Easy to prepare and ideal for hot days, this drink offers a fruity twist on classic lemonade that will delight your taste buds.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings

Ingredients

Lemonade

  • 1 recipe Homemade Lemonade or 8 cups of your favorite lemonade

Fruit

  • 4-5 fresh peaches

Herbs

  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, plus more for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare lemonade: Follow your favorite homemade lemonade recipe or use 8 cups of store-bought lemonade. Set aside or chill in the refrigerator.
  2. Prepare peaches: Wash and slice the fresh peaches, removing the pits. Reserve approximately ¼ of the peach slices to add directly to the pitcher later and for garnish.
  3. Blend peaches: Place the remaining peaches in a blender along with 1 cup of the prepared lemonade and 1 tablespoon of fresh mint. Blend until smooth to create the peach-mint puree.
  4. Strain mixture: Pour the blended peach-mint mixture through a fine strainer or sieve into a pitcher to achieve a thinner, smoother lemonade texture.
  5. Combine and garnish: Add the remaining lemonade to the pitcher and stir gently to combine all ingredients. Add the reserved peach slices and optional lemon slices to the pitcher for visual appeal. Garnish individual glasses with fresh mint sprigs and peach slices.
  6. Serve: Serve the peach lemonade over ice or add ice cubes directly to the pitcher to keep the drink chilled without diluting the flavor.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, lightly bruise the mint leaves before blending.
  • If you prefer a sweeter lemonade, add honey or simple syrup to taste.
  • You can prepare the peach puree ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
  • Using ripe peaches will maximize sweetness and flavor.
  • Add sparkling water in place of some lemonade for a fizzy variation.
