Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Toppings
- 1½ cups Hershey’s milk chocolate chips
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 bars (1.55 oz each) Hershey chocolate bars, broken into chunks
- 1 graham cracker sheet, broken into chunks
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Pizza Pan: Heat oven to 350℉. Spray a 16″ round pizza pan with cooking spray and set aside. Note: Do not preheat the oven yet until the dough has refrigerated.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Cream Butter and Sugars: Using a stand or hand mixer, cream the softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar on medium-high speed for about 3 minutes, until the mixture is fluffy and much lighter in color.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Mix in the eggs one at a time, fully incorporating each, then add the vanilla extract and mix to combine.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix on low speed just until there are no pockets or streaks of flour; avoid overmixing.
- Form the Dough Crust: Slightly wet your hands with water (not dripping wet) and press the dough evenly onto the pizza pan, leaving a 1-inch border around the edge.
- Chill the Dough: Cover the pizza dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate it for 1 hour to firm up. This prevents spreading during baking.
- Bake the Crust: Bake the dough in the preheated oven for 22-25 minutes or until the crust turns golden brown.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Remove the pizza from the oven and evenly sprinkle the milk chocolate chips over the crust. Return to the oven for 1 minute to melt the chocolate.
- Spread Melted Chocolate: Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, spread the melted chocolate around the cookie crust, leaving a ½ inch border so the crust edge remains visible. Turn off the oven or set it to low broil.
- Add Marshmallows and Broil: Evenly distribute the mini marshmallows over the melted chocolate. Place the pizza under the low broiler for a few minutes until the marshmallows are toasted and golden brown. Watch closely to avoid burning.
- Add Final Toppings: Garnish the pizza with broken chunks of Hershey chocolate bars and graham cracker pieces. Optionally, sprinkle extra graham cracker crumbs over the top for added texture.
Notes
- Refrigerating the dough is essential for preventing excessive spreading during baking.
- Keep a close eye while broiling marshmallows as they can burn quickly.
- You can substitute milk chocolate chips with semi-sweet chocolate if preferred.
- Use a pizza cutter to slice the S’mores Pizza for neat, manageable portions.
- Cool slightly before serving to allow toppings to set.
